Quarterly Meeting This Sunday

Please join us for our quarterly meeting this Sunday, October 26 at 9:30 upstairs in the Parish Hall classroom. We will give updates on finances, the capital campaign, the reopening, and much more!

Remembering Our Saints

On Sunday, November 2, we will be celebrating the feast of All Saints. We will also hold in prayer the names of those who have passed. If you would like to honor someone who has left this world, please share their name with us here.

Make Your 2026 Pledge Today

It’s officially stewardship season! Please pray about how you’ll be able to financially support St. James in 2026. You can then make your pledge online here. Did you know that you can make one-time or set up recurring payments towards your pledge online as well?

African Sunday

Last Sunday we celebrated our annual African Partnership Sunday on the St. James’ School field. A fun time was had by all!

Find a full gallery of the celebration here.

November 22 & November 23: Evensong, Return to the Sanctuary, Choir Reunion, and Saying Goodbye to Canon James Buonemani

Please mark your calendars! On Saturday, November 22 at 4:15PM, we will have our first Evensong of the season, combined with a service of rededication of our restored Sanctuary. Then on Sunday, November 23, we will celebrate the Feast of Christ the King, which will also be Canon James Buonemani’s final Sunday leading the music program at St. James after more than 30 years of dedicated service and extraordinary artistry. If you have sung in the choir under Jim’s direction during these years, you are warmly invited to join us in singing Hubert H. Parry’s I Was Glad at this special service. Please reply no later than Monday, November 3, to ChoirRSVP@stjla.org, indicating your voice part. Additional details will be shared with all who respond. We look forward to gathering voices old and new for this meaningful occasion.

What a powerful witness to the great spiritual and social justice leaders who have come before us: The Bishop Barbara Harris, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Bishop Simon Kim,...

And the glorious new crown for our bell tower, designed by Rhett Judice, is shipping this week. Welcome to Our New Vestry Members Congratulations to our new...
