Our new St. James School Chaplain this SundayWe are so grateful to our new St. James School Chaplain, The Rev. Susan Anderson-Smith for serving at both services this Sunday while Mother Kate is away on vacation. Godly Play This SundayGodly Play, a fun class for our St. James children, will be every 1st and 3rd Sunday during 10:30am service! Parents may drop off their children ages 3 and up at Godly Play in the Parish Hall before 10:30AM service for a child-focused lesson. Children under the age of 3 may attend with a trusted adult. Two adult volunteers will be present, and parents will be asked to sign a consent form. Children will be returned to their parents in the church by adult volunteers by the time of announcements. Come join us this Sunday for fun, child-centered lessons and activities! Bishop’s Visit - This Sunday, September 13th We are so looking forward to a visit and baptism from our new Bishop, The Right Rev. Antonio Gallardo Lucena on September 13. In addition to preaching, he will confirm, receive, and baptize members of the English speaking and Korean speaking congregations. New Senior Associate Rector for St. James Dear Friends, I have great news. We have a new senior associate rector! His name is The Rev. Tim Hartley, and he is currently serving as senior associate rector at Church of Our Saviour in the San Gabriel Valley.
